---- Olympic Color Rods, Inc. - Memo from the Owner -------------
 
The European dollar has gained 25% against the US dollar in the past year, with most of the increase in the last 4 months.  The gain is predicted to go as high as 35%.   This has affected our Reichenbach and Zimmerman product costs. Gaffer Glass Product in New Zealand has also been affected, the Kiwi has moved more than 30% in the past year. Due to the increase in product cost Olympic Color Rods, Inc. regretfully has to raise prices.   We will be increasing prices on all glass color 5%,  starting February 1st, 2004.
