Glass Assistant: There are still few of us left in the United States. We design and manufacture all of our products right here, in Salt Lake City, and not overseas. What's even more unique about Hammerton, is that we build and make most everything by hand. Our Glass department plays a significant role in the manufacturing process. We are completing construction of a new Hot Shop in August, so it's a perfect time to find that individual who is artistic, dedicated, and wants to hone their craft working on our team. The position will be focusing on Cold and Warm Glass Works. Other areas include sandblasting, drilling, and cutting of glass. You'll be making awesome lens materials for our lighting fixtures. This is steady, ongoing work with room for growth and creativity. Only the best will be selected! Qualifications: -Experience is a must in working in both Warm and Cold Glass Works. Must have taken at least one art glass class, and ideally will have had 1 to 2 years of hands-on work. However, talent will trump the years if the candidate can show examples of their work. - Definitely open to someone with leaded or stained glass experience as well. Additional Information: Please send your resume' and images of your work to: careers@hammerton.com. Pay is commensurate with experience and talent.

Small Glory Hole, Annealer, and Garage. I want to clear some space in my studio so I am selling some equipment I am not using. As is. You haul. Email glassbykyle@gmail.com for pictures and more info.
Small Glory Hole
Exterior: 23-1/2"x18" 8" hole, 20" deep. $150. The door is 8', but you could recast the door to 6" or what ever you prefer to give you some size options.
Annealer
Internal: 41"Wx21"Dx26"H $4,000. There is no controller, just the annealer. The door handles would need to be tack welded back on. There is some sagging in the fiber, but everything closes up OK.
Garage
External: 46"Wx19"x19" $500. I think some mice were living in it for a bit. I vacuumed it out, but the burner needs cleaning.
