Set at 2200F 50 lb. charges, wait until surface has leveled off, then charge again. -
Hold at 2100F to 2200F for two or more hours. Then ramp down as slow as your schedule permits to the desired working temperature. -
Common working temperatures are 2075F to 2125F. -
"Squeezing" the glass 50F to 100F degrees below the working temperature for at least 30 minutes will help reduce seeds. -
Anneal at 950F to 960F. |
